Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Seasonal Nursery Worker to join our team at the Little Forest Centre. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our reforestation program by assisting in the harvesting of tree seedlings from our greenhouses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load tree blocks onto wagons or conveyors
  • Assess seeding quality on a moving conveyor belt
  • Perform accurate seedling counts on a moving conveyor belt
  • Skillfully bundle seedlings and apply wraps
  • Package seedlings neatly into designated boxes
  • Palletize boxes for efficient storage
  • Dispose of waste materials from wheelbarrows
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • Physical capability to lift objects weighing up to 50lbs
  • Demonstrated commitment to adhering to safety standards and protocols
  • Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with coworkers
