Job Title: Nurse 2 Position

Grace Hospital is seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team. As a Nurse 2, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, assessing, and planning individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed by physicians.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements:
  • Current ICU experience preferred.
  • Graduate of an approved Registered Nursing education program required.
  • Successful completion of the WCCNEP Program or equivalent ICU program/training required.
  • Active participation in professional associations e.g. Association of Regulated Nurses of Manitoba (ARNM) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba Standards of Practice for Registered Nurses.
  • Canadian Nurses Association Code of Ethics for Registered Nurses.
  • Scope of practice as documented in the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA).
