Lead Civil/Structural Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Civil/Structural Engineer to join our team at Capital Engineering (Partnership) in Edmonton, Alberta.

About the Role

As a Lead Civil/Structural Engineer, you will be responsible for:

  • Acting as a project lead and point of contact with clients
  • Supporting clients and other disciplines with Civil/Structural Engineering work
  • Performing and checking calculations, including Finite Element Analysis
  • Working with designers and other disciplines to execute projects
  • Supporting and mentoring junior staff and reviewing their work
  • Providing technical support on site during construction
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Civil Engineering degree
  • Fluency in both written and spoken English
  • Strong technical, interpersonal, teamwork, communication, and organizational skills
