Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Asian Cafe.

About the Role

This is a full-time position requiring 35-40 hours of work per week.

Responsibilities
  • Cooking and Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Team Management: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless operations.
  • Inventory and Supply Chain: Maintain accurate inventory records of food, supplies, and equipment, ordering necessary items in a timely manner.
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Ensure kitchen and work areas are clean and well-maintained, meeting health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Other trades certificate or diploma.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or equivalent.
  • Languages: Fluency in English is required.
  • Personal Qualities: Dependability, organization, reliability, teamwork, and time management skills are essential.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $45,000 - $55,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
