Culinary Specialist

The Asian Cafe is seeking a skilled Culinary Specialist to join our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods according to recipes and menu specifications
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
• Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high levels of productivity and quality
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize ordering and minimize waste
• Clean kitchen and work areas to ensure a safe and healthy environment

• Diploma or certificate in culinary arts or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a commercial kitchen environment
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
• Dependability, organized, reliability, team player, and time management skills
