Machine Learning Developer Position

Job DescriptionWe are seeking an accomplished Machine Learning Developer to join our Scrum Team in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving existing and developing new ML Applications that impact SAP Business Process and Partner Framework.
This is a hands-on role where the Developer will work on live, production-ready applications, leveraging their expertise to enhance existing features and develop new ones.
Responsibilities- Develop application features and enhancements using industry-standard tools and technologies
- Create test automation scripts, perform unit testing, and troubleshoot bugs
- Collaborate with team members to identify problems, propose solutions, and drive project progress
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, learn new technologies, and share knowledge with the team
- Adapt to new processes, tools, and working environments as needed
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, or a related technical discipline
- Experience with databases, data pipelines, continuous integration, and devops toolchains – Jenkins, Docker, Ansible, GitHub
- Experience with web services, RESTful services, and various frontend and backend technologies: Python, Java, JavaScript, Node, React, Flask, SQL
- Knowledge of statistics, machine learning libraries (e.g., pandas , nltk , scikit-learn), and testing frameworks (e.g., JUnit, integration testing)
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum, Test Driven Development, performance testing, or data correctness/integrity testing
- Source control systems like Git-Gerrit, GitHub, and experience working in a team environment
