Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and client-focused Banking Advisor to join our team at the Royal Bank of Canada. As a key member of our retail banking team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consistently demonstrate empathy and understanding in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Communicate effectively to uncover client needs and deliver client-centric advice and solutions.
  • Champion digital enablement by educating clients on self-service options and leading with advice.
  • Use your expertise to meet clients' entire suite of financial needs, both personal and business.
  • Provide professional advice and education on credit and investments, ensuring solutions are appropriate for clients' needs and financial circumstances.
  • Make effective use of technology to connect with clients virtually and face-to-face.
  • Implement effective contact and relationship-building strategies to accelerate new client acquisition and retention.
  • Collaborate with market-leading professionals to ensure clients receive customized and relevant expert advice.
Requirements
  • Mutual Funds accreditation or willingness to obtain it within the training period.
  • A passion for hosting an exceptional client experience.
  • Curiosity, emotional intelligence, and empathetic communication skills.
  • Flexibility, self-motivation, and determination to succeed.
  • Digital literacy across a broad range of devices.
