Business Development Director

Quanta Technology is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director – Business Development Canada to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and development in the Canadian market.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute business strategies to drive growth and revenue in the Canadian market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including electric power utilities and other industry partners.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships and collaborations.
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business results and meet sales targets.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics to ensure business success.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to inform business decisions.
- Bachelor's degree required, Master's preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in the Utility or Commercial and Industrial sectors, preferably with a mix of technology, business development, consulting, and utility positions.
- Extensive network of strong relationships with electric power utilities based in Canada.
- Strong sales focus, capable of negotiation and closing of proposals/bids.
- Strong communication skills and ability to communicate benefits of complex technical analysis effectively to prospective clients.
- Demonstrated business skills: strategic planning, execution, sales, marketing, and new business development.
