We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our culinary team at Kawartha Heights Retirement Living. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading our culinary team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality meals for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and kitchen operations
  • Develop and implement new recipes and menu items to meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff to ensure excellent food quality and presentation
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience as a chef or kitchen manager in a similar setting
  • Proven track record of leading a high-performing kitchen team
  • Excellent culinary skills and knowledge of food safety and sanitation
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
