About the Role

We are seeking a seasoned Cybersecurity Risk Manager to join our team and lead our Enterprise Data Protection initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic oversight and advisory services to Technology Groups and business lines on data protection controls, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory developments.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to assess controls and remediation actions on the operating environment and ongoing projects, promoting a consistent approach to EDP's management programs globally.
  • Engage with business lines to understand and align business requirements with Cyber Security and IT Risk controls, providing advisory services on data protection controls.
  • Assess risk remediation controls and policies in response to changes in regulation, organizational structure, or business needs.
  • Support issue management oversight and remediation programs for high-priority Regulatory, Internal Audit, and Self-Identified Issues related to data protection and risk management.
  • Work with stakeholders to develop recommendations on policies, standards, and frameworks related to Cyber Security and IT Risk, supporting the development of the strategy, governance, and operating model across Data Protection domains.
Requirements
  • A Master's degree or higher in science, technology, engineering, or business administration is an asset.
  • Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CRISC, or CISA are highly valued.
  • Experience using COBIT, ITIL, NIST, or other industry-specific frameworks is required.
  • Proven expertise in Technology, Information/Cyber Security, IT Audit, IT Compliance, regulatory-supervision, consulting, or advisory roles, with hands-on experience working on security controls/mechanisms.
  • Sound business and technical acumen, with demonstrated agility in learning and ability to quickly become comfortable with unfamiliar business areas or technologies.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing/negotiation skills, capable of balancing multiple perspectives effectively.
