Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive cybersecurity strategies to protect our assets and mitigate risks. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including IT, Risk Management, and Compliance, to ensure that our cybersecurity posture aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement a holistic cybersecurity strategy that integrates risk management, compliance, and incident response
- Lead the development and execution of cybersecurity programs, policies, and procedures to protect RBC's assets and data
- Collaborate with IT and other stakeholders to ensure effective cybersecurity controls and risk mitigation measures
- Maintain awareness of emerging threats and technologies, providing expert advice on cybersecurity trends and best practices
- Manage and develop a high-performing team of cybersecurity professionals, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- A strong background in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or senior technical position
- Proven expertise in risk management, compliance, and incident response, with knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field; a master's degree or higher is preferred
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are an asset
