PAM Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer - PAM to join our team at Nexus Systems Group Inc. This role will be responsible for managing and supporting our Privileged Access Management (PAM) environment, ensuring the security and integrity of our systems.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and Support PAM Environment: Oversee the administration of our PAM tools, ensuring seamless integration with our existing infrastructure.
- Monitor Application Health: Continuously monitor the health of our applications, identifying and remediating any issues that may arise.
- Develop Automation Scripts: Create PowerShell and SQL scripts to automate tasks, improve efficiency, and enhance data management within our PAM environment.
- Provide Technical Support: Offer expert technical support to our PAM users and stakeholders, ensuring they have the necessary resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Collaborate with DBA and Infra Team: Work closely with our DBA and infra teams to ensure server and database health, resolving any issues that may impact our PAM environment.
- Remediate Vulnerabilities: Identify and remediate server vulnerabilities reported by our vulnerability team, ensuring our systems remain secure.
- Communicate with Vendors: Collaborate with vendors to troubleshoot application issues, raising tickets as necessary to resolve problems.
- Provide PAM Advisory Services: Offer advisory services to our infrastructure administrators, ensuring they have the necessary expertise to manage our PAM environment effectively.
- Lead Continuous Service Improvement: Lead activities to improve and develop our PAM services, including health checks and upgrades.
- Maintain Documentation: Ensure all documentation related to configuration, processes, service records, asset inventories, administration manuals, job instructions, and support contacts is up-to-date and accurate.
- Upgrade Application Versions: Upgrade our application versions in all three environments, conducting thorough tests to ensure seamless integration.
- Detail Application Health Checks: Provide detailed health checks after security patching, ensuring our systems remain secure and compliant.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 10+ Years of Technical Experience: A minimum of 10 years of technical experience in Information Technology or Information Security.
- PAM Administration Experience: 4+ years of experience in the administration of Privileged Access Management tools such as CyberArk, Delinea, or BeyondTrust.
- Scripting and Automation Skills: Hands-on experience writing PowerShell, SQL scripts, and Linux/Unix in the context of PAM for CyberArk/Delinea/BeyondTrust products.
- Access Management Experience: Hands-on experience in access management on Windows and managing Active Directory.
- Data Analysis Skills: Experience analyzing data using Microsoft Excel.
- PowerBI Experience: Experience with PowerBI.
- Good Documentation Skills: Good documentation skills.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to work well with technical peers and business stakeholders.
- Strong Decision-Making Skills: Strong decision-making, forward thinking, and creative problem-solving skills to anticipate and respond quickly to technological/market influences.
- Teamwork and Independence: Ability to work as part of a team, as well as work independently with minimal direction.
- Post-Secondary Degree: A post-secondary degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or a related IT field is required.
