Job Description

CB Canada is seeking an experienced IT Security Specialist to join our team as a Privileged Access Management (PAM) expert. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining the security of our Active Directory infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement guidelines for the management of highly privileged domain accounts
  • Provide support and guidance on clean-up efforts for all production in-scope domains
  • Offer PAM advisory services to infrastructure administrators, developers, and technology partners
  • Perform remediation tasks assigned to the GIAM ILM team, including:
    • AD privileged account cleanup
    • Complete cleanup of membership for all built-in AD privileged groups
    • Adequate recertification or removal of service accounts from groups
    • Delegation right cleanup on the AD
    • Removal of delegations no longer required
    • Workstation local admin:
    • Add service accounts needing access to workstations to the workstation admin group
Requirements
  • 5+ years of technical experience in information technology or information security
  • Understanding of AD and ability to develop guidelines for the management of highly privileged domain accounts
  • 4+ years of experience in the administration of PAM tools like CyberArk, Delinea, BeyondTrust
  • 3+ years of experience in access management on Windows OS
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with on-prem Active Directory (managing built-in privileged groups, AD delegation understanding)
  • Understanding of service IDs, application IDs, privileged IDs, and regular IDs used by employees
  • Technical knowledge and familiarity with information security standards
  • Proven experience working with a large enterprise distributed computing environment
  • Experience analyzing data using Excel
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills to work with technical peers and business stakeholders
  • Ability to analyze complex situations and problems, and research innovative solutions
  • Ability to work as part of a team, independently, or with minimal direction
  • Good time management and organizational skills to effectively manage high-scale projects
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field

  • Previous experience in PAM and management background
  • In-depth knowledge of AD infrastructure
