About the Role:

This Estimating Coordinator position offers a unique opportunity to join a reputable construction company and contribute to the successful delivery of projects. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, as well as experience in the construction sector, preferably in an estimating or coordination role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support for bid preparation and documentation.
  • Assisting in evaluating and prequalifying subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Ensuring all necessary documents are completed and submitted before bid deadlines.
  • Preparing and distributing bid packages to relevant parties.
  • Monitoring and managing estimating-related communications, including emails and phone calls.
  • Reviewing, organizing, and archiving bid documents as required.
  • Participating in site visits when necessary.
  • Maintaining and updating contact information for trade partners.
  • Preparing applications for bonding and insurance requirements.
  • Scheduling and organizing meetings for the estimating team.
  • Making project-related phone calls to gather information or clarify details.
  • Supporting the closing process for projects, including tender submissions.
  • Analyzing construction drawings, specifications, and other materials to perform accurate quantity take-offs.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Solid knowledge of the construction industry and various trades.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency with estimating and project management tools (e.g., PlanSwift, MS Excel, RSMeans, Procore).
  • 2-3 years of experience in the construction sector, preferably in an estimating or coordination role.
