About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Roger's Transervices Inc. as a Semi Trailer Driver. As a key member of our transportation team, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials across various routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and Maintain Equipment: Safely operate a tractor-trailer combination, ensuring all equipment is in good working condition and performing regular maintenance checks.
  • Transport Goods: Transport goods and materials across various routes, adhering to all relevant regulations and safety protocols.
  • Communicate with Dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, ensuring timely and efficient transportation of goods.
  • Inspect and Maintain Vehicles: Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicles are in good working condition.
  • Manage Cargo: Load and unload goods, ensuring accurate documentation and handling of cargo.
  • Meet Safety Standards: Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and regulations, ensuring a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Requirements
  • Valid AZ Class License: Possess a valid AZ class license and a Class 1/1F/A Licence for semi-trailer trucks.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 to less than 7 months of experience as a truck driver.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, requiring 40 hours of work per week. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, with a large workload and overtime required at times. You must be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
