Culinary Support Staff

Ivy's Kitchen Vietnamese Restaurant Ltd. is seeking a reliable and physically capable individual to join our team as a Culinary Support Staff member. As a key player in the kitchen, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment, ensuring the smooth operation of food preparation, and providing excellent customer service.
Job Description:Responsibilities- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including scrubbing pots and pans, stocking refrigerators and salad bars, and removing kitchen garbage and trash.
- Prepare ingredients and assist with food preparation, including washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables and fruit.
- Package take-out food and ensure accurate labeling and presentation.
- Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment in good working condition.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking supplies, and storing them in designated areas.
- Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure.
- Stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
- Work collaboratively with a team to achieve common goals.
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and handle heavy loads.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
- Demonstrate reliability, dependability, and teamwork skills.
- Be willing to relocate for this position.
We offer a competitive salary range of $30,000 - $35,000 per year, depending on experience, plus opportunities for gratuities and benefits such as free parking and team-building activities.
