Job Title: Outside Sales Representative Opportunity in Markham, ON

Talon Recruiting is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Outside Sales Representative to join our team in Markham, ON. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting sales to existing clients, identifying and soliciting potential clients, and cold calling, sourcing, and prospecting new sales opportunities through provided leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Promote sales to existing clients and identify new sales opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and prospects
  • Prepare and submit bids to meet customers' budgets and obtain potential purchase orders
  • Provide feedback on consumer insights to product and marketing departments to optimize existing content
  • Organize and submit sales reports and purchase orders in a timely and efficient manner
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in Business or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of experience in a sales role
  • Sales experience in car or machine dealership is a definite asset
  • Experience/Knowledge in Heavy machinery & Aggregates related industry is an asset
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel
  • Excellent communication skills & problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage and prioritize tasks
