Job Title: Hardware Associate PT

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Hardware Associate PT to join our team at Otter Co-op. As a Hardware Associate PT, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with sales and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests
  • Stock shelves with merchandise and maintain a clean and organized store environment
  • Utilize product knowledge to promote sales and assist customers with their purchases
  • Operate a forklift if required and maintain a safe working environment
  • Contribute to the team in living the Corporate Values of Integrity, Community, and Excellence

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is an asset
  • Previous DIY Home Reno/Repair experience in building supplies and/or gardening/landscape is an asset
  • Demonstrates a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to take and maintain the Forklift Certification
  • Must be committed to a SAFE working environment
  • Ability to construct and build seasonal displays
  • Ability to perform physical job duties including lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
  • Must have open availability and be able to work days, evenings, and weekends. Preference for candidates available Monday-Friday day shifts
