We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our culinary team at Shawarma Corner, a leading establishment in the industry. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food;
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures;
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation;
  • Hire food service staff;
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards;
  • Prepare budget and cost estimates;
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns;
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage;
  • Prepare food order summaries for chef;

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role;
  • Excellent oral communication skills;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure;
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and walk;
Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is $40,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

This is a permanent position with 35 hours of work per week. We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, opportunities for growth and development, and a competitive compensation package.
