Galvion is seeking a highly skilled Product Configuration Coordinator to join our team. As a Product Configuration Coordinator, you will play a critical role in implementing proposed changes to processes, systems, and product design.
Key Responsibilities- Process Improvement: Implement proposed changes to processes, systems, and product design using knowledge of production, systems, and procurement activities.
- Change Management: Coordinate the recording of changes and modifications for management control.
- ECR/ECO Process: Maintain, communicate, educate, implement, and improve the ECR/ECO process as part of the Product Life Cycle (PLC) process for product development and Bill of Materials (BOM) management.
- Collaboration: Work collaboratively with all departments that require ECR, ECO, and BOM assistance.
- Communication: Provide outstanding internal customer service in all daily interactions.
- Education: 0 to 2-year associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience: 0 to 2 years' experience working in a manufacturing or production environment required.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal/relationship building skills, knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts related to process and configuration management, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, skill in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- Preferred Qualifications: Cross-cultural business experience, experience in the use of ERP programs (i.e. Syteline), experience in the use of Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) programs (i.e. Arena).
