Audit Manager I - A Key Role in TD Bank's Audit Team

Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Schedule: 37.5 hours/week

Job Description:

As a seasoned Audit Manager I, you will be responsible for executing audits for assigned business functions or projects. Your expertise will be crucial in leading several audits and ensuring their completion. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing expertise in planning and executing end-to-end audits based on established audit plans in alignment with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines.
  • Leading the planning process for assigned audits, ensuring the completion of appropriate programs and risk assessments.
  • Supporting the audit opinion as per internal controls and professional audit standards, presenting findings and recommendations to client and audit management.
  • Managing follow-ups on new findings raised from regulatory and internal divisional audits.
  • Reviewing and identifying failures in internal processes and recommending improvements.
  • Staying knowledgeable about emerging trends and developments related to business and analytical tools.
  • Acting with the highest levels of integrity while observing regulatory guidelines.
  • Building a fair and positive work environment where the team can openly report challenges and exchange ideas.

Job Requirements:

  • Over 5 years of relevant experience with an undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications.
  • Hands-on knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
  • Proficient in working multi-functionally and providing guidance to team members.
  • Strong communication (written and verbal) skills to interact effectively.
