We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Family Medicine Physician to join our team at Nova Scotia Health Authority. As a Family Medicine Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services to patients of all ages and stages of health or illness.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Deliver high-quality patient care, ensuring the continuum of care with healthcare providers within the practice and community.
- Be accountable for appropriate workload and practice, working towards same-day or next-day access for the practice population.
- Collaborate with other team members to best suit the community's health needs, providing after-hours access and emergency coverage when required.
- Participate in quality improvement and evaluation activities, utilizing an electronic medical record (EMR) and recording all relevant patient details.
Qualifications
- Eligibility for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS).
- Eligibility for certification with the College of Family Physicians of Canada (CFPC).
- Membership with the Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA).
