Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Lot Assistant to join our team. As a Lot Assistant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our vehicle inventory is accurately managed and prepared for auction. This is a part-time position, working 25-30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure vehicles are ready for auction by performing tasks such as boosting, adding gas, and attending to lockouts.
  • Accurately record services provided to ensure accurate billing.
  • Prepare vehicles for reconditioning shops or transportation, including staging, marking, flagging, and moving vehicles as instructed.
  • Photograph vehicles post-reconditioning services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by assisting customers or internal departments in retrieving their vehicles.
  • Assist with vehicle stock in and check-out process.
  • Operate vehicles in various weather conditions and may be required to manually remove snow.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver's license with a minimum full Class 5 License.
  • Ability to drive standard and automatic transmissions.
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills.
  • Experience working outside in all weather conditions.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience operating plow trucks, bobcats, loaders, and/or tow trucks.
  • Licensed to operate motorcycles or ATVs.
