Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Autism Support Assistant to join our team at Kerry's Place Autism Services. As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide personalized support and coaching to individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), helping them to achieve their personal outcomes and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide coaching and support in social skills, communication, and leisure activities
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with families, supports, and community members
  • Administer medication as per procedure
  • Follow Behavioral and Crisis Protocols as documented
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks and activities
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement individualized plans
Requirements:
  • Completion of a Human Services Diploma or equivalent
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
  • Ability to physically support individuals with ASD
  • Valid Driver's License with a minimum G2 and reliable vehicle
  • Ability to complete NVCI certification and perform required physical techniques
