Job Title: Food Counter Attendant

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Alberta Ltd. As a Food Counter Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve food to customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and surfaces
  • Restock refrigerators and salad bars as needed
  • Take customers' orders and operate a cash register
  • Use manual and electrical appliances to clean, peel, slice, and trim foodstuffs

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Previous experience in a food service environment an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) and stand for extended periods
