Job Overview

We're seeking a seasoned media strategist to lead our team in developing impactful strategies for healthcare providers and patients. As a key member of our media planning team, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define go-to-market strategies across all media channels. Your expertise will help us craft compelling narratives and strategies that drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute media strategies for healthcare providers and patients, leveraging your expertise in media planning and communication.
  • Lead the media pitch process, from RFP to final delivery, ensuring alignment with client needs and effective communication of strategies.
  • Manage new business RFPs, crafting compelling strategic narratives and developing effective media strategies.
  • Collaborate with media planning teams, research teams, and other departments to define go-to-market strategies across all media channels.
  • Support media planning and analytics teams in analyzing media activity to shape strategies and drive results.
  • Extract and apply data to derive meaningful insights that drive strategy, providing POVs on go-to-market approaches as needed.
  • Train and mentor media team members to elevate their strategy and storytelling skills.
  • Identify opportunities for account growth and optimization, leveraging data and analytics to build a compelling business case.
  • Lead/collaborate on new business pitches, owning the narrative and driving revenue growth.

Requirements

  • Requires years of experience in leading client media strategy, with expertise in agency new business pitch process, communications planning, and media planning within US pharma/health agency roles or client-side roles.
  • Deep understanding of HCP and Patient media strategy development, especially in relation to new therapeutic launches and label extensions.
  • Proven experience in developing and executing patient and HCP segmentation, targeting, engagement strategy, and measurement approaches across various therapeutic areas.
  • A strong understanding of ROAS through both short and long-term measurement, and performance marketing.
  • A deep understanding of cross-channel marketing, including TV, search, social programmatic, and display.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively present ideas, results, and concepts to senior executives and internal teams.
  • Experience in brand campaign and lead generation, with clear and established accountability metrics to assess effectiveness.
  • Strong writing and organizational skills, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities and project and team management experience.
  • Comfort with and enthusiasm for integrating AI into your work.
