Job Overview

This role is a critical part of our team, supporting the Vancouver Island Regional Engagement Pathways to inform participation, partnership, and leadership of the Vancouver Island First Nations in health governance and system transformation.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate Coast Salish Health Director Tables
  • Provide logistical support to sub-regional caucuses involving communities within the Coast Salish area
  • Support the Vancouver Island Regional Caucus
  • Participate in health engagement activities specific to the region or sub-region
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A university degree with specialization in Health Sciences, Education, or Social Services, or an acceptable combination of education, training, and experience
  • Relevant experience in coordination support to First Nation communities (usually acquired over 3-5 years) or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License

We offer a competitive salary range of $63,036 - $86,734 per year, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including municipal pension plan, group health benefits, and more.
