We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Health and Safety Manager to join our team at Silver Hills Bakery. As a key member of our Operations team, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our Occupational Health and Safety programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective Occupational Health and Safety programs to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
- Provide training and coaching to employees on Occupational Health and Safety policies and procedures.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
- Monitor and analyze safety metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Develop and implement safety communication vehicles to engage employees and promote a culture of safety.
- Designated Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) certification.
- 3-5 years of experience in Occupational Health and Safety, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships with employees and stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on customer service.
- Competitive salary range of $85,000 - $105,000 per year.
