Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. As a key member of our Digital Practice, you will play a crucial role in developing and implementing BIM best practices across our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Represent the needs of our architecture and engineering practice through active participation in our monthly Digital Practice Coordination meeting.
  • Act as liaison for BIM-related subject matter both internally and externally.
  • Influence, implement, and support interdisciplinary standards and process improvements related to digital project delivery.
  • Provide direction and assistance to AMEP project teams with project scope, approach, setup, and delivery, including the development and implementation of BIM Execution Plans (BXP), model matrices, and other supporting digital scope documentation for each project.
  • Develop families and other electronic content in collaboration with the greater digital practice team to ensure consistency and efficiency.
Requirements
  • A thorough understanding of Buildings systems design, layout, and coordination.
  • Expert-level knowledge of current modeling, drafting, visualization software required, including Revit and Navisworks and associated plug-ins.
  • A strong understanding of design coordination/clash detection process and technology.
  • The ability to respond to and address occasional off-hours project and/or support requirements.
