Job Title: Outside Automation Technical Sales Specialist

Westburne is a leading provider of energy solutions, renewables, lighting, wire & cable, automation, and connected network solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Outside Automation Technical Sales Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for representing Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI, and software in the Northern Ontario territory. This role requires a strong understanding of industrial automation, electrical circuits, and technical sales principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute an annual strategic business plan for sales development.
  • Manage an opportunity funnel to achieve sales objectives.
  • Act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide solutions to customers.
  • Provide post-sale technical support to build customer competency and confidence.
  • Conduct technical presentations and product updates.
  • Attend supplier partner training to maintain specialized product knowledge.
  • Implement strategies to address competition and expand market penetration.
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and technical knowledge of Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI, and software.
  • Valid driver's license and passport required.
