Job Title: Technical Sales Support Specialist

Westburne is a leading provider of energy solutions, renewables, lighting, wire & cable, automation, and connected network solutions. We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Sales Support Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary:

The Technical Sales Support Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support to customers and sales teams, as well as developing and executing commercial activities to drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical circuits, industrial automation, and Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI's, and software.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support to customers and sales teams
  • Develop and execute commercial activities to drive sales growth
  • Act as a pre-sale technical consultant to provide technical solutions to customers
  • Provide post-sale technical support to build the competency and confidence of customers
  • Conduct technical presentations and product updates
  • Attend supplier partner training to maintain a high level of specialized product and application knowledge
Requirements:
  • Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology diploma or degree from a recognized institution
  • Minimum of 2-years of previous experience in automation or technical product sales/support
  • Understanding of sales principles such as Strategic Selling, Customer-Centric Selling, Conceptual Selling, etc.
  • Technical understanding of electrical circuits and industrial automation
  • Product and application knowledge of Rockwell Automation Controllers, HMI's, and software
  • Valid driver's license and passport
