Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Motel Managing Supervisor to join our team at The Ranchland Inn Ltd.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our motel, including supervising staff, managing guest services, and maintaining the overall quality of our facilities.

This is an on-site role, requiring the ability to work independently and as part of a team. We are looking for someone who can provide exceptional customer service, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the work of staff members to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to meet business objectives
  • Maintain accurate records of staff performance, attendance, and training
  • Coordinate and manage the daily operations of the motel, including guest services, housekeeping, and maintenance
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to enhance guest satisfaction and experience
Requirements
  • 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the hospitality industry
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with property management systems and software
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $50,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include comprehensive health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
