At Aviva, we're looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our Security Advisory Services, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining risks and controls with Aviva Group Cybersecurity standards and policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in threat risk assessments, 3rd party supplier assurance, and risk management. You'll be responsible for providing mentorship to business lines, ensuring design, development, and implementation of projects and initiatives align with Aviva's Cybersecurity Standards.

As a Senior Cybersecurity Advisor, you'll work closely with our Cybersecurity Managers to support partner management, maintain solid relationships with Risk & Compliance, Privacy, Supplier Assurance, IT Infrastructure, and Operational Business Units.

We're looking for a domain expert in cybersecurity who can lead sophisticated projects, provide security advice, and craft security assessment documents. If you're passionate about new technologies and enjoy implementing security controls, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead in one or more key team responsibilities
  • Provide security advice to mitigate cybersecurity risks
  • Review architecture documents and craft security assessment documents
  • Collaborate with various business lines and IT support functions
  • Promote awareness of Aviva's Cybersecurity Standards and Policies
  • Provide support to management on cybersecurity matters
  • Address daily requests from IT and business users on security-related matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity threat risk assessments
  • 3rd party supplier assurance and risk management experience
  • Managing pen test programs with external vendors and IT teams
  • Access management reviews, including privileged access, processes, and tools
  • Experience with DevOps, microservices, application migration to cloud, and SAAS-based solutions
  • Experience working in a security or IT audit team, IT developer, system administration, or network experience
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective working relationships and collaborative work approaches
  • Knowledge of PCI Compliance requirements and Compliance Attestation process
  • Knowledge of Ariba, Archer GRC, or equivalent platforms
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, IT security, risk management, or comparable professional training
  • Professional designation relating to cybersecurity or IT risk (e.g., CISSP, CISA, CISM, CCSP/CCSK, GIAC)
