About the Role
The estimated annual salary for this Relief Pharmacist position is $110,000 - $140,000, depending on experience and qualifications. This opportunity involves supporting stores in Edmonton and around the province of Alberta.
Responsibilities
This role entails managing day-to-day pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications, maximising clinical opportunities, and administering vaccinations. You will also be responsible for maintaining inventory within the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with Provincial and Federal regulations, policies, and procedures.
Additional duties include remaining current on the latest trends in the pharmacy industry, offering private consultations to patients, providing clinical services such as medication management and health screening, and assessing, planning, and applying clinical knowledge when required.
Requirements
To succeed in this position, you should possess a Canadian Pharmacist licence in good standing with the respective College of Pharmacists, hold an injection certification, and demonstrate proficiency with Pharmacy Software solutions, preferably Kroll.
Experience with Opioid Agonist Treatment (OAT) and completed mandatory training when required is also essential. You must be able to travel frequently throughout the region for 1-2 weeks at a time and work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
