Key Responsibilities- Provide Comprehensive Nursing Care: Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care to meet the physical, psychological, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and social needs of our residents.
- Ensure Resident Safety and Comfort: Utilize sound nursing practice principles to ensure the delivery of excellent nursing and personal care in the assigned home area(s).
- Manage Medications and Supplies: Ensure the supply, control, and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and ensure protocols are followed on all assigned shifts.
- Collaborate with Healthcare Team: Work effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction.
- Maintain Accurate Records: Document resident care, progress, and any concerns in a timely and accurate manner.
- Education and Certification: Bachelor of Science – Nursing (BScN), Bachelor of Nursing (BN), or equivalent, and current registration as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses.
- Skills and Experience: Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, basic computer proficiency, valid First Aid and CPR Certificate, and strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Personal Qualities: Compassionate, empathetic, and respectful attitude towards residents and colleagues, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
