TEAMS Transport is seeking a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join its admin department. This individual will be responsible for administering various HR-related systems, standardizing HR resources across the organization, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in similar roles and be well-versed in how large companies manage their HR resources. This experience will enable them to strengthen and develop new systems and procedures at TEAMS Transport.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for all human resource-related matters.
  • Coordinate operational, health, and safety meetings and reporting requirements.
  • Organize and coordinate all hiring processes at TEAMS Transport.
  • Provide independent support for all HR-related questions from staff and drivers.
  • Create and process all documentation for each employee.
  • Coordinate employee surveys and engagement initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with current legislation and potential future changes.
  • Contribute to various projects aimed at standardizing templates and procedures throughout the organization.
  • Ensure data integrity and security policies are upheld.
  • Provide administrative support as required.

Requirements:

  • Completion of a post-secondary HR Administration program or equivalent studies.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with accuracy.
  • Effective communication skills in person, via email, and over the phone.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to learn in-house computer programs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Initiative and a positive attitude.
  • Reliability and dependability.
