About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Rockies and River Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading our kitchen operations and ensuring that our guests receive an exceptional dining experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Development: Collaborate with our culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and specials that showcase our restaurant's unique flavor profile.
  • Kitchen Management: Oversee the daily operations of our kitchen, including inventory management, staff supervision, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate our culinary team to achieve exceptional service standards and maintain a positive work environment.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Food Safety: Maintain a high level of food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of experience in a senior chef role.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant environment.
  • Ranks of Chefs: Chef, Sous-chef.
  • Cuisine Specialties: Cantonese cuisine, Szechuan, Dim Sum.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check required.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, handling heavy loads, physically demanding, attention to detail, standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, kneeling.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, initiative, organized, reliability, team player.
