Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team at THERESE HOFFMAN. As a Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances, pick up debris and empty trash containers.
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene.
  • Laundry and Alterations: Launder clothing and household linens, mend clothing and linens.
  • General Tasks: Wash windows, walls and ceilings.

Requirements:

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Site Environment: Non-smoking.
  • Work Setting: Employer's home.
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check.
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Punctuality, initiative, honesty.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months, temporary position, 30 hours per week, English language.
