About the Role:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at K-W Underhill Residential Home. As a key member of our housekeeping team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our residential facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors to ensure a clean and safe environment for our residents.
  • Dust furniture and fixtures to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture to ensure a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Make beds and change sheets to maintain a clean and comfortable sleeping environment.
  • Distribute clean towels and toiletries to our residents.
  • Stock linen closet to ensure a sufficient supply of linens.
  • Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances to maintain a high level of cleanliness and hygiene.
  • Disinfect operating rooms and other areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
  • Pick up debris and empty trash containers to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Launder clothing and household linens to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Mend clothing and linens to extend their lifespan.
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.
  • Wash windows, walls and ceilings to maintain a clean and comfortable living space.

Requirements:

  • Will train.
  • Durée de l'emploi: Permanent.
