Commercial Contracts Manager
Veolia is seeking a skilled Commercial Contracts Manager to provide world-class support from tendering to final project completion. The successful candidate will balance customer centricity and risk management to drive the growth of the region.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide negotiations preparation and support to the Sales and Proposal teams, as well as Project Managers/Service leaders and other functions within the region.
• Review, negotiate and approve Non-Disclosure Agreements to support proposal efforts.
• Develop and implement risk management processes and controls working with Project Management / Services leadership.
• Prepare persuasive positions for complex contract negotiations and lead them in high-risk projects/deals.
• Consult with the Legal Team as necessary to support contract negotiations and dispute resolution.
Requirements
• Degree with strong academic record in technical, engineering, legal, or business fields.
• Over 10 years of commercial or transactional contract negotiation experience, or equivalent.
• Fluency in English and the ability to draft and negotiate in it. French is a plus.
• Ability to influence and persuade with experience of negotiations.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and concepts as used in commercial contracts.
• Good verbal and written communications skills, including presentations to customers and Veolia team members.
