About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at The Extell Group Corporation. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to woodworking and construction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed estimates of labour and material costs for construction projects
  • Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials
  • Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems
  • Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware
  • Estimate costs and materials for construction projects
  • Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings
Work Environment

As a Carpenter, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial construction sites, mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants and other establishments.

Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the trade
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
