Job Title: Early Childhood Educator Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Educator Assistant to join our team at New Beginnings Early Years Center.

Job Summary

The Early Childhood Educator Assistant will provide support to our early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children. This role involves maintaining daycare equipment, assisting with record-keeping, and engaging children in activities such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including cleaning and organizing the daycare area.
  • Assist early childhood educators in planning and implementing activities that promote children's development.
  • Support children in developing good eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss children's progress and any issues that may arise.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of children's progress and activities.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
