About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at New Beginnings Early Years Center.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Support early childhood educators in developing and implementing programs that promote children's physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
  • Assist in record-keeping and data collection to track children's progress.
  • Engage children in activities that promote learning and development, such as storytelling, singing, and crafts.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, including eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Submit written observations and reports to early childhood educators or supervisors.
  • Participate in staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date work records and logs.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
