About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Education Assistant to join our team at New Beginnings Early Learning Center. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our early childhood programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, including the upkeep of daycare equipment and facilities.
  • Collaborate with early childhood educators to develop and implement engaging programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Assist with record-keeping and data entry, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information on children's progress.
  • Plan and lead activities that foster children's creativity, social skills, and emotional intelligence, such as storytelling, singing, and craft-making.
  • Support children in developing essential life skills, including proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Contribute to staff meetings to discuss children's progress and address any challenges or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed work records and logs.
Requirements
  • Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Dental plan and healthcare plan
  • Permanent work term
  • English language proficiency
  • 37.5 to 40 hours per week
