About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Food Counter Attendant to join our team at Tim Hortons. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers in a fast-paced environment
    • Operate a cash register and process transactions accurately and efficiently
    • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner
    • Upsell and promote menu items and promotions to increase sales and drive revenue growth
  • Inventory Management
    • Receive, unpack, and store supplies and inventory in a timely and efficient manner
    • Monitor inventory levels and report any discrepancies to management
  • Teamwork and Communication
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales and customer service goals
    • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management to ensure seamless operations
Requirements
  • Education
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a fast-paced food service environment an asset
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
    • Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
