Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for executing projects with precision and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
- Measure and calculate material needs, ensuring accurate estimates
- Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
- Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
- Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility
- Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them as designated
- Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
- Build scaffolding and other construction structures
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely project completion
- Minimum three (2) years of experience in a lead carpenter role
- Construction experience in the disaster restoration industry is considered an asset
- Ability to work in a diverse setting and adapt to changing project requirements
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform moderate to heavy lifting and manual labor
- Competitive hourly rate of $30.00
