Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for executing projects with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
  • Measure and calculate material needs, ensuring accurate estimates
  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
  • Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility
  • Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them as designated
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely project completion
Requirements
  • Minimum three (2) years of experience in a lead carpenter role
  • Construction experience in the disaster restoration industry is considered an asset
  • Ability to work in a diverse setting and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to perform moderate to heavy lifting and manual labor
