Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Coil Winder and Repairer to join our team at Powerite Automotive Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing complex electromechanical equipment, including electric motors, transformers, and switchgear.

Key Responsibilities
  • Equipment Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair electric motors, transformers, switchgear, generators, and other electro-mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Coil Winding and Assembly: Wind, assemble, and install various types of coils, including electric motor coils, transformer coils, and other electro-mechanical components.
  • Machining and Fabrication: Use machining tools to fabricate or recondition parts, including shafts, bearings, commutators, and other components.
  • Welding and Brazing: Weld or braze components to ensure proper assembly and functionality.
  • On-Site Servicing and Repair: Perform on-site servicing and repair of electromechanical equipment to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
  • Quality Control: Test and inspect equipment to ensure it meets quality and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in electromechanical equipment maintenance and repair.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Environment: Noisy and dusty work environment.
