About the Role:

SUN PHARMA is seeking a skilled Manufacturing Operator I to join our team in a 2nd shift role. This position involves operating equipment for various production processes, including Glatt fluid bed processor, Granulation, Blending, Compression Coating, Imprinting, Banding, and Encapsulation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate equipment for one or more production processes, ensuring compliance with established Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) and customer requirements.
  • Perform machine changeovers, cleaning, and setup as required.
  • Troubleshoot and make adjustments to maintain production specifications.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards during the manufacturing process.
  • Complete manufacturing documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain compliance with appropriate SOPs and cGMPs.
  • Perform duties through proper, safe use of equipment following all OSHA regulations and Equipment Manuals.

Work Conditions:

This role is based in a manufacturing/production/laboratory environment, with exposure to various environmental factors, including noise, fumes, odors, gases, dust, and hazards.

Requirements:

  • High School/Trade School/Vocational School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of Production/Manufacturing experience, including solid experience in primary production processes.
  • Experience in Glatt fluid bed processor, Granulation, Blending, Compression Coating, Imprinting, Banding, or Encapsulation.
  • Forklift or other related equipment certification a plus.
  • Strong Troubleshooting skills.
  • Good knowledge of cGMP and other pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
  • Good knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety procedures.
  • Good Math and Computer Skills, including MS Office and some experience with SAP helpful.
  • Strong Interpersonal & communication (both verbal & written) skills.
