Job Opportunity: Senior Data and Applications Support Specialist


About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data and Applications Support Specialist to join our team at S.i. Systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing our Student Information System and ensuring seamless data integrations, migrations, and reporting across various systems and platforms.


Key Responsibilities:

• Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the PowerSchool Student Information System and other related applications.

• Ensure PowerSchool and related applications meet security requirements and apply prudent levels of confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility.

• Monitor and optimize the performance and security of data and applications, ensuring they are updated to current stable versions.

• Coordinate and maintain data integration, synchronization, migration, validation, and reporting tasks across various systems and platforms.

• Manage accounts for staff, students, and parents, ensuring seamless integration into the onboarding process.

• Resolve incident and service request tickets related to application and data issues, escalating to external vendors as necessary for resolution.


Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in data and application management.

• Proficient in SQL, database administration, data analysis, and reporting tools.

• Experience in basic scripting/programming using Python, PowerShell, or similar technologies.

• Familiar with data standards, privacy laws, and best practices in education.
